Operator Ultimate Leisure has opened its first London venue.
The Prohibition bar and grill opened at No. 1 Bishopsgate in the City after an 8 week fit-out costing £1.5 million.
The site offers over 7,000 sq ft of customer area and is the Prohibition brand’s fifth site.
A further opening is planned for Bristol next year.
“Opening in London was the next logical step in our strategy of growing our presence in major towns and cities. We are continuing to seek new site opportunities for the Prohibition brand”, said Chairman Mark Jones.
“Designed to appeal to office workers, the bar offers a fast and efficient service, an extensive menu and more than 100 different cocktails.”
“It has also introduced the ‘Black Rock Grill’ where customers are served with raw, marinated slices of meat which they then cook themselves on a hot volcanic rock brought to their table,” said Jones.
